At upliance.ai, we believe that home cooking should be more of everything - more convenient, more fun, more nutritious, and of course more smart! With the global pandemic changing the way we live, cook, and eat, we wanted to create a solution that upped the game, unlike anything else in the market.
Our vision is to bring smart technology to every inch of every home, across the world. After the upliance, we are gearing up to launch an extensive product line of smart refrigerators, microwaves, and much more designed to make everyday life easier!
For now, we are taking it one meal at a time.
Pre-seed round: upliance.ai secured $1.5 Mn in pre-seed funding in 2022, led by Zerodha’s fintech fund and incubator Rainmatter, which infused $500K in the round. Tim Draper and the founders of Ather Energy, Unacademy, Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs India have also participated in the fundraising round.
Seed round: upliance.ai has raised Rs 34 crore (approximately $4 million) in its seed round at a valuation of Rs 143 crore ($17 million) in 2024*.* The round was led by Khosla Ventures, which has invested in multiple focused startups like OpenAI, DoorDash, Rabbit and Instacart.
🦈 Shark Tank India 🦈 Armed with a compelling pitch and a robust plan to STOP EATING BORING FOOD, we entered the iconic Shark Tank India stage on January 2024, ready to convince the investors of the value and potential of our venture. The experience in the tank was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, as we negotiated and fielded tough questions from the Sharks. Regardless of the outcome, the exposure and lessons learned from the Shark Tank experience proved invaluable in propelling our business forward on its entrepreneurial journey.
